Little one  

should you ever feel out of place

just look into the sky

and you'll find my familiar face 

I'm your friend

The golden Sun

here just above

Cheering you on

Even if your hue feels blue 

Know it's true

You are worthy of so much love

I hope you feel it in the warmth of my hug 

I'll always Shine shine shine on you 

 so you will know 

that everyday is your day 

to strive 

 to thrive 

and eventually bloom

into who you truly are  

 a sparkling star

with a precious gem of a heart 

that beams bright, brilliant, and beautiful 

 never be afraid

 for all to see
